The Best Orthopaedics Hospital in Nellore

The diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions are all handled by the orthopaedics department. We provide services for treating a wide range of skeletal disorders that require a higher level of treatment, including knee replacement, hip replacement, bone procedures, and more.

Services

  • Amputation: Body parts that may be amputated include fingers and toes, hands, feet, arms, and legs. You may have a reduced capacity to walk, work, interact with people, and maintain your independence as a result of an amputation. We make healing easy for people who are going through the after effects of amputation.
  • Arthroscopic surgeries:  Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing and treating joint problems. Arthroscopic treatments are often used to fix problems in the ankle, shoulder, knee, and wrist.
  • Bunionectomy and Hammer Toe Repair: During a bunionectomy, your big toe must be re-aligned to remove the protrusion from within the joint. Local anaesthesia is often used for same-day bunion operations (with no overnight stay in the hospital). Swelling and pain are to be anticipated in the days and weeks after surgery. Swelling and agony may last for months or even years. The second, third, fourth, and fifth toes may all be affected by a hammertoe deformity. If the problem is caught while the toe is still flexible, it may only need a simple soft tissue tendon release to be fixed. Curling and stiffening of the toe during therapy will eliminate the aberrant bone growth. The joint should be able to function properly again when this procedure is performed. When the bony protrusion is removed and the toe is straightened, corn is no longer a problem.
  • Cartilage Repair or Resurfacing Procedures: Filling the hole in the cartilage with repair tissue is the goal of a number of techniques for cartilage repair and regeneration. The size and location of the problem determine the best method to use for repairing the cartilage.
  • Cartilage Surgery to the Knee: Knee chondroplasty is the medical name for surgery to restructure knee cartilage. Chondroplasty may be done on the articular cartilage or the meniscus of the knee, or even on both of them. Debridement of the knee is often performed in combination with knee chondroplasty.
  • Fracture Care (Fracture of Femur, Tibia, Ulna, etc.): Fracture therapy is a specialty of our orthopaedic trauma team. Every day, they deal with people who have broken bones and watch over their care from the time of surgery (if needed) until they are fully healed. From the top of the head to the bottom of the foot, our orthopaedic trauma surgeons are here to help you get back to normal as soon as possible. With the help of our other orthopaedic specialists, like foot and ankle surgeons, they quickly look at the damage and try to make you feel better.
  • Joint Replacement (Arthroplasty): Arthroplasty, often known as joint replacement, is a surgical procedure in which a diseased joint is replaced with an artificial one (made of metal, ceramic, or plastic). If necessary, we may do a complete joint replacement (total joint replacement). Besides replacing the whole joint, we may also repair only the damaged portion of it. Joint replacements for hips, knees, and shoulders are the most frequent.
  • Ligament Reconstructions: If your ligaments are too damaged or weak to heal on their own, we may suggest that you have them fixed. Tendons are harvested to repair the injured ligaments in ligament reconstruction surgery. The peroneus brevis tendon is the most frequent entry point (the tendon that pulls the outside of the foot upwards).
  • Repair of Torn Ligaments and Tendons: We repair torn ligaments and tendons with the help of advanced therapy. An allograft is a graft taken from the patient or a donor who has died and used to fix a torn ligament. Minor rips may not need surgery in certain circumstances. Sprains and strains are most typically caused by strained or torn ligaments or tendons.
  • Surgery, Including Discectomy, Foraminotomy, Laminectomy, & Spinal Fusion: We perform all kinds of spine surgeries to treat a range of spinal conditions. Nearby nerves may be irritated by the herniated disc. A discectomy might be able to alleviate pain that spreads down your arms or legs. During a discectomy, the damaged part of a herniated disc in your spine is taken out. Surgeons performing a foraminotomy do so to relieve pressure on the spinal nerve root, which might otherwise lead to inflammation and discomfort. In a foraminotomy, the bone or tissue that obstructs the passageway and compresses (pinches) the spinal nerve root is removed. A 2-to-5-inch incision is made in the midline of the lower back to access the spine during a laminectomy procedure. The erector spinae muscles of both the left and right back are then separated from the lamina on both sides and at various levels. After getting close to the spine, the lamina is taken out. This lets the nerve roots be seen clearly. Herniated discs, fractures, and scoliosis may all be treated by spinal fusion surgery, which joins the bones of the spine together. Fusing together vertebrae eliminates movement between them and relieves discomfort during the procedure.
